Master Shin:
Master Shin began training in martial arts in Seoul, Korea
at the age of nine. He currently holds 6th Dan in Taekwondo (WTF) and is also, certified
blakc belt in Hapkido, Judo and Jujitsu. He has close
to 40 years of experience in martial arts. At the age
of 17, he began teaching martial arts and has taught at
Brandeis, Northeastern, and Wellesley College. He has
competed in Taekwondo at the National level and has won many
championships. He received BSEE from Northeastern
University.
Master Shin loves the challenge of helping students learn,
grow, and develop a better, happier life through Martial
Arts training.
Today he lives in North Andover with his wife, Jemma, and
their
five children,
all of whom participate in Taekwondo classes
Master
Hwang: Master Hwang began training in martial arts
at the age of 11. He received Bachlor's degree from
Sunmon university. He has been teaching at Master Shin's
Martial Arts since 2005.
Instructor
Ms. Greaves: Ms. Greaves, began
studying Tae Kwon Do at age thirteen at Master Kang’s
studio, White Plains New
York in the 1980. She achieved
her first Dan in 1983 in New York,
and after a hiatus for college, work and children, returned
to studying martial arts in 1998 in Woburn
Massachusetts. Ms. Greaves
achieved second Dan and a year or two later joined MSMA
where she achieved a third Dan. Ms. Greaves is an
engineer by profession, and a MSF certified motorcycle
safety instructor. She lives in Andover with her husband and two children.
